1:1projects London


1:1projects (London) is a non-profit organization founded in 2006, which has so far produced several successful events and exhibitions in partenrship with 1:1projects Rome, including Hospitality (2006), which comprised a symposium with invited speakers from across Europe, a series of participatory public art commissions by commissioned artists from italy, and a screening of films by artists from Europe and Asia and Active Archive (2006), a symposium organized in collaboration with Sound Art Museum, Rome and the British School at Rome focused on the Audio Arts projects by William Furlong. The inaugural London event by 1:1projects London was London 2012 never took place, an event to launch the project WE SELL BOXES, WE SELL BOXES, an investigation of the london 2012 Olympic zone. 

Through our projects we aim to introduce a collaborative and interdisciplinary style of producing work that interrogates specific local contex and cultural frames, and links audiences, collaborators and participants with the sites of production and reception.
